Professor Hu Jinian attends 16th annual conference of IAFMHS

The 16th Annual conference of International Association of Forensic Mental Health Service (IAFMHS) was held from 21 to 23 June, 2016 in New York, US. The themes of this year’s conference covered related topics including needs of mentally disordered offenders, assessments of violence risks of mentally disordered offenders, treatment, rehabilitation and returning to community of these offenders, training of mental health service providers and evaluations from forensic mental health users were also covered. The conference was co-hosted by John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Fordham University. About 300 attendees from around 30 countries and regions attended the conference.

Professor Hu Jinian with Institute of Forensic Science, CUPL attended the conference and gave a presentation titled On the assessment of criminal responsibility of offenders with drug-induced mental disorders.
