Professor Andrew Ligertwood and Mr. David Caruso: Common Law Criminal Process and Forensic Science Evidence

Invited by the “2011 Plan” China Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization, the "111 Plan" Base for Evidence Science Innovation and Talent Recruitment and the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, CUPL, Professor Andrew Ligertwood and Mr. David Caruso from Adelaide Law School successfully gave eight inspiring and interesting lectures on topic of "Common Law Criminal Process and Forensic Science Evidence" for CUPL graduate students from September 20th to September 30th, 2016.

The Adelaide Law School (ALS) is a law school in Australia, founded in 1883. It is the second oldest Law School in Australia and is a part of the Faculty of Professions at the University of Adelaide.

Professor Andrew Ligertwood and Mr. David are famous law professors in the field of Evidence Law. The lectures lasted for six days and has mainly focused on FACT DISCOVERY, ADVERSARIAL PROOF, TESTIMONY, EXPERT EVIDENCE: EVIDENTIAL RULES, EXPRESSING EXPERT FORENSIC EVIDENCE, EXPERT FORENSIC EVIDENCE AND ADVERSARIAL PROCESS, THE PROBLEMS ILLUSTRATED: FACIAL AND BODY MAPPING and the MOCK TRIAL, provided a great opportunity for Chinese students to be familiar with Australian Trial in terms of Direct Examination and Cross Examination.
